Highlights

What is the major backbone of the RX Wallet? What is its goal and what does it want to ultimately achieve?

RX Wallet is the core product and release for the RiveX ecosystem. It intends to bridge and integrate DAPPs not only from Wanchain but also from other ecosystems such as Ethereum, EOS, Binance Chain, Tron, etc.

For example, WRDEX is a DAPP built on Wanchain but RiveX will also intend to integrate DEX from Ethereum, gaming DAPPs from EOS, etc so that all the DAPPs are stored and housed under one roof which is the RX Wallet.

The people behind RiveX strongly believe that asset interoperability and adoption can be fully achieved via a user friendly and seamless usage with multiple DAPPs from different ecosystems all in one wallet, under one roof— the RX Wallet!

RX Wallet (Desktop) is the official RiveX foundation wallet, supporting a variety of assets including RVX, ETH as well as ERC-20 and WRC-20 tokens.

  • Send and receive digital assets directly from your mobile device with a simple user-friendly wallet, or store your assets long term.
  • Store a variety of different native assets, with more to be added in future.

Features

The first feature of RX Wallet has WRDEX built-in which allows users to exchange assets in a decentralized manner from within the desktop wallet. RX Wallet gives you a way to seamlessly manage and exchange your assets securely, all from one application.

  • WRDEX will allow you to exchange your assets from within your desktop wallet, for a full overview of the WRDEX please read here.

Seed Phrase Support:

RX Wallet supports the industry-standard 12-word seed phrase which can be used to login to other wallets in the ecosystem.

  • Backup your wallet with your seed phrase or import existing ones.
  • All your accounts are backed up using this seed phrase instead of needing separate keystore files or exposing your private keys for each account.
  • Writing your seed-phrase on a piece of paper and storing it safely out of sight is far safer than saving digital copies of your private keys or keystore files.

Two-Factor Authentication Support:

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds another security layer to your wallet beyond your password.

  • With 2FA enabled, you will be prompted to enter your 2FA code to do transactions, keeping your funds more secure on your desktop wallet.
  • Google Authenticator and Authy can be used during setup to scan your 2FA QR code. A backup token is displayed during setup which should be saved somewhere safe in case you lose your authenticator device.

Upcoming Trezor and Ledger Support:

  • Trezor and Ledger hardware wallet support will be added in a future release, this takes your security to the next level by allowing you to store your assets offline on a secure hardware device.

Upcoming RX Wallet mobile versions:

  • RX Wallet will be available on both iOS and Android versions. These mobile versions share similar functionality as the RX Wallet desktop version.

Non-Custodial:

  • RX Wallet is a non-custodial wallet meaning you are in full control of your own keys. Nobody at RiveX will ever ask you for your seed phrase and it should never be shared with anyone under any circumstances.

Upcoming features:

  • RX Wallet will be the Super-DAPP of the RiveX ecosystem, with a new version already in the works. As RiveX builds and connects to more DAPPs, these will be accessible via the desktop and mobile versions, allowing you to connect to all your favorite DAPPs from within one application.
  • Multi-sig (up to 5 signatures) feature whereby transactions can only be initiated when it is approved by a minimum of 3 addresses.
